WHO is She?

Hi there! I'm DrgnBeauty (she/it), but you can also just call me Draevra. I'm a trans game programmer, pixel artist and musician from somewhere in New Jersey. I do all my development solo for the most part, but music, worldbuilding, and game design are my biggest passions. I've been doing various creative work since around 2012 or 2013, and am experienced in a lot of things, though! Also, I'm actually a gorgeous dragon lady in real life. Yes, really!

HOW does She?

All of my game programming work is done in GameMaker (formerly known as Game Maker Studio 2), and all my pixel art is done in Aseprite. My music is made in OpenMPT, DN-Famitracker, or FL Studio depending on what the style calls for. I've also dabbled in tildearrow's Furnace a bit.

WHY does She?

I've known since I was a kid that I wanted to be SOME kind of creative type. I tried art, music, writing, programming... you name it. Then I realized I could combine all of those skills and uhhh... yeah I'm an indie gamedev now. I was originally just a hobbyist just toying around in GameMaker 8.1 for fun, but seeing the work of indie devs becoming huge hits really inspired me to take my gamedev work more seriously in the hopes that one day, maybe I can make something that special too. Of course, that's much easier said than done, but... when has that ever stopped me?
